Jasper County Conservation Board will host coffee and an Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) program at the Jasper County Armory/Annex Building in Newton.

Greg Padget, owner of "Plaid Perch," a farm focused on raising heritage livestock for food and fiber, will talk about his sustainable sheep operation, spinning wool, and using natural dyes to create beautiful skeins of yarn.

The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
